“from DARKNESS to LIGHT”
as it is written in Acts 26:18, “now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.”
Patch the Pirate: Faith Baptist Church is proud to now offer an exciting new program for children ages 4-12! Patch the Pirate Club meets every Wednesday evening from 7 – 8:30pm in the church classroom. The club combines sound bible lessons and games with a fun and engaging Children’s Choir. Each month focuses on a key verse relating to the topic of the Quarter. This quarter’s topic is The Armor of God. Each week the Sailers, as the club members are called, will spend time learning and practicing basic musical elements as they rehearse for an end-of-lesson performance. Daily devotions are assigned for personal study during the week. The Choir will perform during the Sunday evening service at 6pm every 5-6 weeks. Please think of adding this fun and heart warming club activity to your child’s routine as Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”
Teens’ Mission Trip: In an effort to raise funds for their upcoming mission trip, the Teens of Faith Baptist will host a meal each Wednesday evening at 5:30pm during the month of January. Tickets are available for $5 per Adult and $2.50 per child age 6+. See Bro. James Lumley for details and to purchase your ticket.
